Thanks Trevor,
The nonstop booing of new villain Zadorov was priceless. Calgary fans let him know how they felt about wanting out .
Game was sloppy with not much flow, Flames waited til it was too late to get their heads in the game.
Pelletier took the pregame warmup which is a good sign. I’m sure he’ll do a conditioning stint with the Wranglers first.
Wtf is wrong with Anderson? Is he playing with an injury? Looks disinterested.

Thanks Trevor.

Last night, in the dying seconds, Tocchet was clearly upset with Canuck players trying for the empty net.

Ironically, Zadorov made himself a hero by doing that very thing.

It's a small point, but I just have a funny feeling Mr. Zadorov and Mr. Tocchet may be butting heads in the not to distant future.

When Pelts comes back something will have to give if they want him up with the big club. We have 13 forwards now and only Zary is waivers exempt. Who gets exposed or traded..... Duehr, Greer, Ruzicka, Dube, Mange?

Dube , I like him but he just hasn’t been able to put it all together at all , he needs a fresh start and we need to cap space for the young guys

Add Coleman l to that list. Cannot see him wanting to stick around.

They changed the goal to Pettersen after the game.

Coleman’s under contract and has been one of the most consistent forwards this year. He’s a very subtle sh!t disturber out there. Last night in the 1st period he cruised through Demkos crease and made contact. It appeared to tweak something, Demko didn’t look 100% after that.

Not sure he's tradeable until the 2018 HC story is told.

Maybe but I think the salary and term will make that a tough deal to make.
He's done everything we could have asked for when we signed him and this year he's been excellent.

Forgot about Lindy..... and lets not forget about a roster spot for Coronato either as he's proving he's way to good to be in the AHL.

Currently untouchable. No one will touch anyone from the TC scandal team until results are out. Hence why some guys are unsigned and some proposed trade bait guys are still hanging out there. Oilers probably wouldn't touch Hart for Campbell 1-4-1 rn because of this.

If cleared, Dube will have some value, but probably not much. Likely an add on in a deal to up the value of one of the guys who supposedly want out and up the return a bit. But won't generate much interest on his own, some but not much.

Exactly this. If cleared he has a little value, but not much on his own. An add-on to a deal to make cap work or roster spots. If the investigation says he was involved he has 0 value.

As an outsider who has watched many Flames games, Coleman has not been a problem this season. 4.9M might be a bit rich for what he brings, but its not a HUGE overpayment. Probably about 1M too much going forward, depending on your opinion of him, but not crippling.

Problem with the Lindy idea is not many others value him as a 1C and that's what most Flames fans and Flames "experts" value him at for his 1 big season with Johnny and Turtle. He's a very good 2C on most teams, not a 1C on many. The Flames base expect a HUGE return for him, when that just isn't being offered RN. And likely won't come. He will/should get a good return, but not elite. No one has space now to make it happen now.

Flames fans need to temper their expectations. Get a bigger return at the deadline, when they may be in a playoff possible position and lose that possible better pick keeping him/others, benefit is possibly making the playoffs and getting that excitement and possibly retaining players, or dealing now, getting a lesser return than at the deadline, probably no shot at playoffs, but giving kids experience and getting parts towards a quicker "retool/rebuild". What is the lesser of 2 evils? And then keeping ownership content with money factors.

Drafted in 2013 the Canucks are Zadorov's fifth team.

There is a reason for that and I stick to my point that Zedorof and Tocchet will not be a good fit.

Define a little value but not much?
He's 25 years old, does a lot of things well and has two 18 goal seasons under his belt.

Would like to see some specific values/trade proposals supporting your strong outsider opinions.
''He will/should get a good return, but not elite''
Define good return?
Define good return with 50% salary retained?
Define good return with a sign and trade?

He's currently a 4th line winger with the TC scandal surrounding him. Likely a middle 6 winger at best. What are you willing to pay for a 4th line player with middle 6 at best upside?

There has literally been 1 true sign and trade in NHL history and you expect the Flames to pull off the 2nd one in a little over a year? Ya, not gonna happen. And half his 4.8 cap hit isn't that prohibitive at this point in the season. His value is that of a good defensive 2C that scores at about a .75ppg, not the 1.0PPG he hit in his one big year 2 seasons ago. What would you pay for Phil Danault and expect that type of return.

I think Coleman had been great. I think he would rather be on a contender. If Calgary had to eat some salary to make that happen he could get a decent return.

More vagueness accompanying your strong outsider opinion.... define good return specifically what does Lindy bring back in a trade?
