The top 6 and top 4 will be fine, we desperately need at least one of the young guys(Poulin, Pustinen, Yager..etc) to really take the reigns and go with it.

I'm pretty sure Crosby, Karlsson, Guentzel, Malkin, Letang adds up to five, but yeah. Asking a lot of those guys.

I still don't understand why we didn't re-sign Zucker. I'm pretty sure we could get him back for slight less than what he's making in ARZ if we gave him a 2-3 years deal.

Anyone here thinks Reilly Smith is a better player than Jason Zucker or can be more productive than him? I'll hope so. Last thing I saw from Smith was seeing him drunk on the cup parade and saying he could retire now that he got a cup in Vegas lol

Steve Mears stays with the Penguins and moves to the Penguins radio, joined by Phil Bourque

Josh Getzoff leaves radio and will do the play-by-play for TV, no replacement for Bob Errey named yet

Dan Potash will be the new TV host within the studio. Hailey Hunter from the Golf Channel will be the rinkside reporter.

All in all, have no issues with any of the changes. Potash leaving the ice sucks but I guess moving to a studio host role is a promotion for him?

125 players, 32 teams, each team should have 3.9 players to be considered average. The pens have 5 (Sid, EK, Jake, Geno, Letang). So better than the average?

Last thing I saw from from Zucker was going scoreless in 2 games against the the 2 worst teams in the league while being a -4. For reference Jeff Carter and Jason Zucker had the same amount of pts the last 7 games of the season. Carter was a +1.

Because he's aging and injury-prone.

Getzoff and Army were on DVE together and there were many hints to it being both of them. No one said it outright though haha. Getz I think has a tad more excitement to his broadcast. Don't listen to him often, so we'll have to see haha.

Hailey Hunter at minimum is a great mute situation. I have never seen her work before so I have no clue.
