Nylander….Isles and Wild with interest. The Nylander saga continues on. The Isles believed at one point they were probably the closest…The Minnesota wild have also poked around there…They have always liked Nylander…

The Islanders are prepared to offer Cal Clutterbuck, a lottery-protected 3rd round pick in 2028, and the rights to Rick DiPietro's amnesty buyout payments in return for William Nylander with 7% retained

Hahahahahaha...Too funny. The Isles? They have nothing to offer unless this is a pure salary cap dump...which it is not.

The Wild? They are not going to take on salary this season or next unless they also get a first round pick and/or stud prospect. They have nearly $15M in dead cap this coming season and the next one, too. They are not going to try to compete and trade for two useless years on Nylander.

Didn't the Wild have Nylander at one time but he was called Kevin Fiala back then?

The Wild have always liked Nylander. They’ve always liked McDavid too.But they’re going to wait for Yurov and Khusnutdinov. Both are excelling in their age group. Yurov and Kaprizov are already friends. khusnutdinov just broke the KHL assist record for 20 year olds that was held by Kaprizov and Kuznetsov. The only interest I could see is an interest in pushing up the price if anyone in the West is in on Nylander.

32 teams have interest in Nylander especially Toronto. He'll sign a 3-4yr extension.

I think the Isles are coughing up too much in that trade.

If Nylander goes to Long Island, can we please pronounce his last name to rhyme with "Islander"?

Well that sucks, Keefe resigned! Don’t like some of his tactics…..putting lines in a blender, playing our weakest D men at key times in a game, matchups while playing Tampa/Cooper at times were terrible, continually outmatched by Cooper. I don’t see why some folks think he is so good! I mean honestly my Grandmother could coach this team with close to the same results. I was positive about the moves Tree has made until now. Hey while we’re at it let’s bring back the core four. Prediction, Leafs lose in the 1st round to Carolina, and nothing changes.

Pretty sure that one sounded better in your head than it does in print.
