Bruins Could Trade for Couturier if Healthy Talking to a source today and the feeling in Boston is Sean Couturier, if healthy, is the perfect Bergeron replacement. Couturier has be rehabbing for many months and is currently listed as 100% and ready to play.

What could the Bruins realistically offer the rebuilding Flyers in return for Sean Couturier? The Bruins have no draft picks, no high ceiling prospects and are an old team. The only asset I would consider if I were the Flyers is Charlie MacAvoy which I think the Bruins would be crazy to move for Couturier.

Has barely played in three years…. You think it starts with Mcavoy to get rid of the couturier contract? 😂😂

I'm assuming this means the Bruins are interested in the Flyers retaining 50% for the next 18 years, but the real question is how many 1st round picks do the Flyers give up?

Your right. Mentioning McAvoy as the only player the Flyers would want for Couturier is perfectly reasonable.

Pretty sure the Flyers would trade that contract for a bag of chewy spree.

You still need a 1C to play even respectable hockey.

Coots will be a smart defensive player which Torts will like.

Don't get me wrong, the Flyers will suck this year but that's not the point. The Bruins don't have a reasonable package to trade for Couturier. First round pick is a must.

Somebody posted this on the trade board at HF. You continue to make them “rumors”. Rumor monger.

Makes sense that Boston would inquire about Coots if he’s healthy. Whether the Bruins can get him and the Flyers are willing to trade him for what Boston would be willing to part with is a completely other issue. So actually, nothing to see here. These aren’t the droids you’re looking for. Move along move along.

For an oft-injured player who 's last season of 70+ games was 3 years ago?
Who has an almost 8M Cap-hit? (for 7 more years!)

Two years but yes, it's unrealistic. He is coming off of two back surgeries.
