Real person with connections, E Friedman:
Vladimir Tarasenko has new representation: JP Barry & Pat Brisson of CAA. What this means is no deal in place with any team, but process re-sets today. |

Will this affect Yamamoto signing in Pittsburgh as a UFA (Unavailable Free Agent)? |

How did Anaheim get involved in this and why would they want Tarasenko? Include him in the trade to Ottawa for DeBrincat? This makes zero sense. |

Trying to guess Ek's thinking while making it up, but I presume ANA will need him to make a run at the cup this year? LOL |

If Tarasenko is signing a one year deal, of course Anaheim will want him. It's basically a free first round draft pick next trade deadline. |

Tarasenko won't land a 1st rounder, if he's even healthy. He's got little incentive to go to ANA in the hopes he gets dealt to a contender...just sign a 1 year deal right now in that case when you have more control over where to go. |

Two “rumors” ago it was “ Predators, Panthers, Blues, and Bruins”.
Then it was Carolina and Ottawa.
Now Anaheim is in.
Might need 2-3 more teams, Ek.
Just cover as many as possible so you can say “nailed it”.

Chat GPT.....
Can you provide some potential destinations for NHL free agent, Vladimir Tarasenko since he got new agents today?
ChatGPT
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Vladimir Tarasenko is a right winger for the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League (NHL). However, I don't have information about any recent updates or developments since that time, including his new agents. I recommend checking the latest sports news and updates to get accurate and up-to-date information on Tarasenko's situation and potential destinations as a free agent.
User
Did you know that answer is incorrect? He was traded to the New York Rangers earlier this year and is now an unrestricted free agent
ChatGPT
I apologize for the outdated information. If Vladimir Tarasenko has indeed been traded to the New York Rangers and subsequently became an unrestricted free agent, there are several potential destinations he could consider. However, please note that I can provide general information based on historical trends and team needs, but the ultimate decision rests with Tarasenko and his representatives. Some potential destinations for Tarasenko as a free agent could include:
New York Rangers (if they are interested in re-signing him)
Contending teams looking to add offensive firepower, such as the Colorado Avalanche or Tampa Bay Lightning.
Teams with salary cap space and a need for scoring, like the Seattle Kraken or the New Jersey Devils.
A return to a Russian team in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) if he prefers to play in his home country.
Ultimately, the actual destination will depend on several factors, including team interest, contract negotiations, and Tarasenko's preferences. It's best to follow the latest news and updates from reputable sources to get accurate and up-to-date information on Tarasenko's potential destinations.

Do you think the Carolina Hurricanes, Ottawa Senators, or the Anaheim Ducks could sign him? If so, why or why not?
ChatGPT
As an AI language model, I don't have access to real-time information or the ability to predict specific player signings or team decisions. However, I can provide some analysis based on general factors that teams might consider when pursuing a player like Vladimir Tarasenko. Please note that these are hypothetical scenarios and actual team interest can vary.
Carolina Hurricanes: The Hurricanes could be a potential destination for Tarasenko if they are looking to add a top-six scoring winger to bolster their offense. Tarasenko's offensive skills would complement their strong defensive system. However, their interest would depend on their evaluation of Tarasenko's health and ability to contribute at a high level, as he has had recent injury concerns.
Ottawa Senators: The Senators, a young and developing team, may have an interest in adding an experienced player like Tarasenko to provide leadership and offensive production. Tarasenko's scoring ability would benefit their young core of talented players. However, the Senators' decision would depend on factors such as their long-term plan, salary cap considerations, and the direction of their rebuild.
Anaheim Ducks: The Ducks could potentially be interested in Tarasenko if they are looking to add an offensive weapon to their roster. Tarasenko's goal-scoring ability would provide an immediate boost to their offense and potentially help their younger players develop. However, similar to other teams, their decision would depend on factors such as salary cap space, Tarasenko's health, and their overall team-building strategy.
Ultimately, actual interest and decisions by teams depend on various factors, including team needs, salary cap space, contractual considerations, and evaluations of the player's abilities and fit within the team's system. It's best to follow the latest news and updates from reputable sources for the most accurate information regarding Tarasenko's potential destinations. |

No, Yamamoto will be perfectly able to suit up for both the Penguins and the Kraken provided that they are not playing one another that evening. In that case, Kyle Dubas will challenge Ron Francis to a game of Magic the Gathering to determine who gets Kailer that night. |

FLD, OTT and CAR are my best bets. Love to see him sign in CAR at a reasonable contract but not getting my hopes up. |

I think once DeBrincat gets traded, Tarasenko signs in Ottawa. Carolina then moves Pesce + for Karlsson. The final domino then becomes Yamamoto to Pittsburgh. |
