Umm, its because he's not really a good player. He's not good enough to play in the top 6 for any organization in this league. In the bottom 6 he's soft and ineffective. Arizona has guys like Maccelli and McBain in middle 6 roles and likely want to give guys like Smith or Jenik a look. But not many people watch the Coyotes so have no idea who any of these players are. Fischer sign a 2-way deal somewhere and end up in the AHL or pressbox. Hope that helps.
