Flames and Flyers working on a trade?
Just was told this one....could be Sanheim...but that's just a guess. All I know is the teams are talking.. |

Maybe Conroy and Briere are just reminiscing about their playing days? New GMs tend to talk a lot and try to build rapport with colleagues. |

Sanheim at 6 x 6.25 is an expensive CAP dump for the Flyers based on the trades weve seen this week. |

No he’s not. Sanheim has a really good skill level, he just needs to be in a place where he’s used properly.
He played well the 2nd half of the year. Overpaid ? Yes. Cap dump, hell no |

Sanheim, was the Flyers best defensemen the year before Torts took over. Torts doesn't like his game, for some reason, which can be quite effective when he can be activated with the puck. Is he Pronger in his own end? No. (who is?) But, he can be effective and his skating is A rated. It would be sad to see him go, but it's clear that the Flyers timeline for the rebuild is not in line with his contract term... another Fletcher mistake for both the player and the team.
Just my 2 cents. |

He has 6 years of term.... flyer fans wont accept a 5-6 year rebuild will they?
His contract will be tough to trade in today's market thats all im saying! |

Would be nice if Conroy could work some magic and move Hanifin, replace him with Sanheim, and still come out ahead asset-wise. |

I agree. 6 year term is too long. Flames got enough of that, no need to get more.
