I don't know how many times I read "his game may not translate to the next level". I suppose this is why he slipped. We'll see I guess.

Indeed. I know Philly needs defensive prospects, but when Perreault fell, I was really hoping to pick him up. A 1, 2 punch first round with Michkov and Perreault would have been a hell of a steal. Instead, the Rangers add to their arsenal.

I heard all the hype (and doubts) about Michkov. But when I saw the way his muscles were bulging through his suit, I thought Flyers had won this draft. This kid has elite skill. I have watched all the highlight plays on him. Never new he was the muscular, physical guy that showed up on the stage.

Rather have Bonk, word is perrault is a good player but his numbers were over what his actually production is because of who he played with.

This is the first draft in a long time where we got it right with both 1st rd picks.

Landing a potential top 10 pick at 23 is a "WIN, WIN" for the Rangers. Made total sense for the Rangers to draft Perreault. They really had nothing to lose and potentially a lot to gain.

Fully expect them to "develop" him into a true 3rd liner
