I think if they were going Lavy, it would have happened last week. If he doesn't get announced as the coach by Tuesday, I think it's safe to assume that it's going to be one of Leach, Knob, Roy, or Quenneville. |

Last game is on tonight, right? They have to be at least waiting to interview him. |

Really cool that you have been to all four outdoor games Jan. Maybe someday.
As for Roy, I am definitely interested and he would be my top choice. He has anger issues that I'm sure Drury will try to flesh out. Could be the interview doesn't go well and we end up with Laviolette, but I'm betting on Roy. |

So, our guy is a winner.
And he can bond with Othmann on day 1. |

Roy makes too much sense as the days go on. Like you guys have said, Laviolette probably would’ve been hired by now. Drury played with him in Colorado and they won a cup so they aren’t strangers by any means. Maybe he’ll unlock Laf also.
Just don’t think a first time NHL head coach is the way to go at this time for the org. It’s win now mode, Roy is a winner ain’t no doubt about that |

I need to see reports that the rangers are meeting with Roy before I have any hope he is the guy
Still think we will just randomly find out Lavy got hired at some point soon. Hopefully not though |

I mean they better at least give him an interview. Its not like they seem blown away with anyone they've met with yet or there would be a new coach already. I am all in on Roy. I know I've read questions regarding his personality, but personally I feel he's the kind of guy that can deal with the expectations. He has the pedigree to command the respect of the veterans and we know what he's done coaching young guys. Get Roy! |
