Was an ugly game. Wish they could have played like they did in periods 2 and 3 the entire game. Series would likely be over. Some ugly mistakes. Time to button it up.

I have been seeing that he has been less open than he normally is. Someone is almost always on the guy. He needs to use some of that creativity and find his spots to get some shots off.

Honestly I think its been a great man vs man battle from the forwards perspective. Its not like maurice is matching lines against pasta, its more of whichever line is out there is doing a decent job at taking away Pasta's time and space. Shots from him the last few games were very poor angles.

Almost looks to me like he is trying not to give the puck away so much but in effect the poor quality opportunities are doing just that. He still put 4 shots on goal last game, so its not like he is being smothered. I think positioning against Pasta is better than you surmise it to be.

Bobrovsky outplayed Ullmark. Nothing more to it and it happens all the time in hockey. All these over analysis of other factors are ignoring that if you swapped goalies in that game Bruins win by 5+ goals.

that ending was just awful, they were flat in the OT as well. Ullmark is playing a lot more than he has his entire career, they should have let the Swayman start one of the away games.

Maybe they thought with the extra day of rest he'd be fine. Unfortunately not so much... So question is - does Swayman play game 6? Or only if Ulmark falters again?

And what's prognosis for Krecji? How did he get injured?

Bit harsh. Outside of the weird lines for the first period, the Bruins pretty much controlled that game. Two monster mistakes made the difference.

So Boston skaters who completely dominated play for the majority of the game, should have had play adjustments to account for a goaltending disparity?!?! Other than Swayman for Ullman, what specific adjustments should have been made?

NHL has gone overboard with these challenges. They were prob just afraid to give Panthers a penalty for a failed challenge at that point.
