Another good game by Frost. You can say what you want, but I have consistently posted all year that Frost needs to be more assertive offensively instead of deferring to his linemates and trailing the play. I also have poasted that Frost has a sneaky good and accurate shot and needs to shoot more. Well as he has developed this season and his confidence swelled, he is now driving to the net, doing spin-o-ramas and shooting the puck much more. And the results are coming, two multi-goal games in his last 3 games. Its good to see, I sincerely hope he keeps this play up not just the rest of the this season, but into next season as well; the Flyers desperately need his skill in the lineup.

This is always one team where I always cheer for our boys. I detest Pitt as much as I do the vag rags

Frost is figuring things out and it's beautiful to see. I hope he hits the 20 goal mark and I hope that this is the beginning of the frosty the goal man story

not only is Frost using his wheels to drive the O, he is setting up office behind the net. Frost has figured out how to win the battles back there and get it to the scoring areas. Frost still has work to do, hopefully will be consistent, a word I hate but if he can maintain this level of play or close, you have some high end talent. Tip keeps going, Farabee comes back, keep TK, Coots gets back to form and Foerster is the real deal, could they use that high end talent, for sure, but no team will take that 6 lightly, need one to play off-side

How sobering is it that perennial doormat Buffalo has talent that dwarfs what the Flyers have. Thompson, Tuch, Dahlin, Skinner, Cozens all better players than anyone the Flyers have.

I get what you’re saying but TK is a better player than a few of those guys

Does Tort get a credit for Frost "figuring out"?

everyone keeps saying "Couturier gets back to form". Even if he does, which is a long shot, he will NOT put THIS team over the hump. Next year they will have Couturier @ 7.75, Hayes @7.1, RR @ 5+, Sanheim @ 6?, TD at 5+ plus JVR's 7 for the next over-the-hill overpayment. That is a whole lot of money for a whole lot of average. This team is in desperate need of ELCs, but, of course, a precursor to these are drafts picks

He is definitely playing with confidence. I like the job the coaching staff has done all year. Torts seems to have different ways with different players. It’s not always appreciated by the fans, but if he can get a legit top 6 player out of Frost who are we to argue.
I knew you liked him all along… AHL? You were just trying to light a fire under his ass.

I think they may be able to move a contract or two that you have listed. We’ll see what Danny boy can do. But how right you are. A whole lot of average out of those guys.

People talking like Frost had an unbelievable game, two goals great. Played a part in 3 goals against where he missed picking up a guy or the puck and the Okposo goal was one of the most egregious out worked moments of the entire season.

He’s a work in progress but you can’t deny the skill level. He did have a few defensive gaff’s, but they seem to be happening more infrequently of late. The whole team played very very loose last night. Those type of games will happen when the pressure of the playoffs is long gone…I don’t know what Buffalo’s excuse was.

if he adds a little muscle and improves in his own end he will be a fine 2c. just needs to be assertive. he is improving.

I’ve never denied the skill level, but the posts of “he’s figured it out” on a night when he plays apart in 3 goals against, one being entirely on him is laughable.

I would say yes, but at some point torts needs to compliment Frost and not continue to act like frost doesn't have a future here.

JVRs contract is done

Elliott Friedman claiming Hayes will be moved

There is no way they come back w Sanheim, Provy, TDA and Risto. One of them goes and Andrae backfills. I’d move two of em, but either way one of them goes.

That’s 20 millish off the cap and we get even younger n prob faster up front going into next season.

Hope that was not too positive…

with york and andrae and ginning..all ld i think it's provie or sanhiem. provie prob easier to move. rhd is still an issue and the only one i can think of is attard. don't think he projects higher than 2nd pair at maximum.

and also zamula. hopefully if it is provie, we hget a good rhd in return.

Friedman made it sound like Provy is likely gone. He wants it and the team wants it. It's a big loss imo, hope they can work out a good deal and get a good player in return. Just glad it's not chuck making the deal.

don't look at the maple leafs or avs roster. you may check yourself into rehab.
