Number 1 female doges!

Edit: Murray wasn't "that" good against Ottawa. He made a few nice ones but the rest were just meh. A lot of saves doesn't necessarily mean a lot of great saves.

A couple of the goals were stinkers too, 2 IIRC.

Shoot out was pretty good though, after the first 3 or 4 shots I think.

Rasmus Sandin is far from the only one struggling defensively for Capitals, but he's on a nightmare run when he been on ice for 13 of 16 even-strength goals they've allowed in the past four games, including 2 of 3 today.

He's minus-11 during that stretch.

this is wild

Sure, I guess, although some credit to the guys that scored 5 goals so he could win after letting in 4.

I just don't think it was the stellar performance every one seems to be giving him credit for. He did his job IMHO. Nothing too much more.

He made 6 saves on 9 shots in the shootout.

Considering it was in Ottawa, maybe Leafs fans could take a step back from their commitment to hating every Leafs player who isn't perfect every night, and just tip our hats to Murray on Saturday night.

I personally think Samsonov will be our starter come playoff time, but Murray will be a very adequate 1b.

well that first goals was hard to pin on a goalie.
one of the other ones also, cant remember which..was just a bunch of luck for the sens.

sometimes you can score 4 goals (i dont count a SO goal) and get outplayed pretty much the entire game...and win. ...thier goalie is pretty meh also.

To me, if not for Murray that game is over in the 1st period where he made several big saves and let the slow and tired Leafs slowly wake up enough to start to make a game of it. He was good in the shootout for sure.

The Leafs are 5th best in the league for goals against per game, and literally a 10th of a percentage point away from being tied for 3rd.

Woll has a .938 sv%

Samsonov has a .917 sv% (6th best in the league for starters)

Murray has a .905 sv%

I know this goes against everything we've been taught as Leafs fans, but maybe it's time to BeLeaf.

So fun, crazy, don't take it seriously question:

Do you think that O'Reilly would play a Marlies game or two for conditioning, provided the games were in Toronto?

anyone else feel like it’s not as much fun without the constant threat of an arbitrary ban?🤦‍♂️

it just doesn’t seem as exhilarating and naughty 😭👎🏿

I can do without it. We lost a bunch of guys because they got so fed up with the constant threats.

Being a fan means you’re all in. I don’t think I’d follow it at all if I wasn’t.

Not terribly weird, if you think they are going to drop Willy to the 3rd in the playoffs, centred by O'Reilly, to have three solid scoring lines.

IMHO, of course.
