Really like the new line of Duehr Dube Kadri. Maybe those 2 speedsters will like a match under Kadri to get him moving.
When someone is struggling they usually end up with Backlund, Huberdeau on the left side is also a good move.
Sitting Looch is the best move by far, players like him hit that point in their career where they don’t provide much offence, don’t fight to provide a spark. I think this is where he’s at now. Sit Lewis as well, we need the points.

I’m hoping that new management doesn’t sign our UFA’s. We have to show that we’re willing to play some of our prospects. Zary’s having a very good season with the Wranglers. Wolf should get a good look next year, but another year in the A is probably best for his development, sitting on the bench watching Marky play 5-6 in a row doesn’t help. Coronato needs to think, that the Flames want him and he has an opportunity here.
I’d rather lose with the kids than lose with the seniors.

Totally agree. In the 2017 Draft alone Dallas got Heiskanen, Oettinger and Robertson with the 39th. pick overall.

The Flames used the 16th. pick to get Juuso Valimaki.

They’ve been getting a bit more puck luck so definitely not impossible. The only way is to start winning consistently and that starts with this trip. Both San Jose and Anaheim should be considered wins, if these guys want to continue to play.Would be great if they could ramp it up going into the playoffs, I could see them being a tough team to play then.
I guess we’ll have to see if they really want it or not.
