I grew up following Junior and then playing. But I follow Junior because it's good hockey and I enjoy it. You gain a respect for how big the step is to the NHL.

It's such a shame that the NHL has the stupidest idea of what a good playoff format looks like.

There could be anticipation and suspense coming down the stretch, but nope. Bettman is too (frank)ing dense.

If it were 1-8, the Leafs would be either be playing the Rangers or....the Lightning. Would that really keep you on the edge of your seat that much?

Personally I think the rematch with the Lightning is the vastly superior storyline to playing the Rangers anyway.

Regardless its pretty obvious most fans do not like it and Walsh(and agent) came out and said he doesn't know a player who does.

Pretty clear to me its an owner thing and that means its likely here for a while.

But people are absolutely allowed to voice their opinion on it, it's the only way it might change one day.
