Like the past 5 years, we are waiting to see the summer moves for next year's team to be more competitive. Seems to be a lot of 1 goal games against good teams, that is better than last year. That and the fact that the Wings held a play-off spot 10 days before the deadline, albeit it was for only a day.....

This year was a move forward. I thought Hronek was a part of it as he had goodright side support and could be a little more flexibly used as Seider takes some minutes off his plate. I think Feds correctly pointed out that not enough of our right shooters are under contract. Vrana was a mismanagement, though possibly for the right “reason”. With Bert, Hronek and Vrana all headed out someone needs to grab a spot or a trade/free agent needs to come in. Walman has been a pleasant surprise, to be sure. Things are trending in the right direction, just have some serious talent ahead of us division and conference wise.

Watching the Ras injury in slo mo is brutal. Felt awful for Fabbri but sounds less severe than the worry indicated. Agreed on flashes. Starting to see things take shape

Since it's pretty obvious now that neither the Wings or Griffins will make the playoffs I wonder if Yzerman would consider bringing up Edvinsson or Soderblom to Detroit to see how they're progressing. Even if it was only for a week or two I'd like to see how well they perform.

I would guess Edvinsson gets a few games but hasn’t Soderblom been pretty underwhelming in GR?
