It’s fine to take pot shots at bitter rivals but it’s a slippery slope to navigate when one relishes in player injury. Actually I find it abhorrent but hey, that’s just me.

Is your profile pick really NY64? A guy many Oil fans wished he was injured for career. And there have been many players the Oilers fanbase has wished gone by any means necessary. Even many not on the team they wished would be LTIR for their career. Still see many glad Pronger is no longer involved and some glad it's concussion related. Then see many post about how Bieksa, Perry, Getzlaf are better out of the game now. And how many preyed that Lucic could be either bought out or LTIR'd and many are doing the same now for Campbell or did the same JP. Even see them about Yamamoto now too when he's on a normal to down trend. Oilers fans are no better than any other fan base. Ride the tides.

What I find amazing is that a team with the top player in the league in points is in a WC spot. And that's with a 6-3-1 record in the last 10 games. Over 200 points between two players and one is +9 with the other a -1. Don't worry, the highlight season of goals will soon be replaced with the playoff sweep in the first or second round.

I was simply pointing out that Trevor has this unhealthy obsession with pointing out the flaws of other teams, particularly the Oilers, even though he has a treasure chest of material laying at his feet with the amazing Flames.

Taking delight in the injury or near injury of the League’s best player, (in a Flames Blog, no less), is deplorable whether you’re a fan or not.

I don’t think it’s unhealthy, you need to get up to speed. If you’re an Oiler fan it’s natural to hate the Flames, point out everything wrong with them, cheer for failure….etc….

Have you ever seen Jack Campbell play? He’s the poops. That’s not the only issue with the Oilers game no doubt but it’s a big part of the struggles.
