These lineups almost make me think of preseason.

Bill, i haven't seen any Phantom games this year, but it seems like Ginning is doing quite well. Is he a hopeful for camp next year or the first call up?

I think he still needs to improve his play with the puck. He's a good defender and moves decently.

For Montreal, maybe. The Flyers don't have TK, Couturier or Atkinson but haven't had the latter two all season.

Know of ours, but yes theirs is interesting. Not listing Ellis in the equation? but we all assume his career is over at this point

Apart from the first week of the 2021-22 season, this is essentially the second full season with no Ellis; and from all signs, his Flyers career will consist of the first three games of 2021-22 plus a one-game return in Nov. 2021.

can't expect an NHL line up when a team have 11 players on the injured list from their starting line up + Byron and Price (Armia, Wideman, Dach, Xhekaj, Edmundson, Caufield, Monahan, Slafkovsky, Evans, Gallagher, Guhle + Byron, Price)

Rem Pitlick on the 2nd line for MTL. He scored a natural hat trick with the Wild for his first NHL goals. Pitlick ended up playing only 20 games with the Wild. He couldn’t or wouldn’t play defense.

Ironically the same year the flyers brass is stuck in when running a hockey club.

I personally would not move JVR. Second and third round picks are highly unlikely to make an impact on the club when their window to win is next season.

I’d keep him on for the playoff push. The experience gained for the youngins is priceless.

shame really. injuries like that that end someone's career early are always disappointing.

I sort of take back what I said about trading JVR. I’d take the draft picks only on the condition that they are packaged for a trade in the off-season.

A smart GM trade Laughton. A smart savy GM trades TK (depends on injury) Hart, and Ivan. A real smart and savy GM does not extend Sanheim for 8 years over 6 per.
