Thanks Sean, yeah the result was tough but that Bruins team is pretty solid. Once they get possession in the offensive zone they make you look silly.
Need the playoff experienced guys to demonstrate how the effort level needs to go up, winning board battles etc.
On Dunn, hopefully they don’t give him the 8 x $9 type deal, I don’t think he’s a first pairing guy long term. Solid second pair and PP2 guy, once they have better defenders. Keep him, but be smart about it. |

Certainly agree that a 9 million deal should be out of the question but with his play this year you can bet him and his agent will be looking for at least 7+ million. Maybe they do a one year deal and revisit but his camp is going to want to get paid. |

Tough one but we pushed and hung in there with the best team in the league and have done so twice now. I still think some of the slopiness is from structure. Boston turned the puck over more than we did last night. Gru with the .818 still hurts a lot too. Kraken are good but still building.
I'd not blow the money on Dunn. Not to mention needing to lock up Soucy and Borgen, and Id rather have them more long term. Then again there's a few others I would be looking to move on from as well on the roster too. Expecting the transition phase next few years as prospects develop and start to move into roster spots.

I mean, he’s worth at least what Tyler Myers is getting paid, but he’s a long way off from Darnell Nurse |

Krak to improve the PP is a must. Perhaps they should go after Karlsson. This would bump them up the standings and be a playoff contender. |

HELL NO!!!!
He costs you as much as he brings offensively. We have more than enough issues with turnovers. Way too costly and an outright defensive liability.
We will see the improvement in a year or so as more talent and younger faster prospects come in. |

No risk no reward. Put him with Dunn.
Will the team still be good enough by the time the prospects are ready to provide an impact? |

Not too surprised really given the injury and not playing yet at all
Leafs on tap tonight. Just gonna sit back and enjoy no matter the outcome though Kraken really need a win |

Beyond bad. At this point with losses mounting imo Gru should be stapled to the bench as a back up. Soft serve goaltending tonight. He was brutal. Team had chances, opened the scoring but the difference was Samsonov made saves when his team absolutely needed them and especially early on.
Very difficult game to watch. It was still noticable when jones went in the team pkayed differently. Wasnt just the usual shakeup effect. They looked much better and more like the team that could be dangerous.
Jones and the team had us in 1st place at one point in the division, and hanging at the top. The slide really started when Gru came back and they gave him back the net.
Still also think how they play, the strategies are wrong. That all falls on coaching. Francis can fix the roster but hasnt addressed the elephant in the room. Need to sack the Hak! |

Well look at that. I know the Blues are depleted and struggling but Jones in and guys scored and got a win.
Man did we need that too. Tolvanen continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. Thank you Nashville for that one. 3 point night for him. Geekie and McCann had a good night too.
Hate to say I don't see Francis doing much of anything at all unless someone really comes in calling on say Soucy or a netminder though till Dreidger is up and running and back can't see even asking one of the three to waive the ntcs.
