Megna is a good bottom pair defensive option.

Just ended last blog with this idea..

Trade for Beauvillier. 3RW or in a pinch 1RW. Vancouver needs to retain tho.

Otherwise I’ll lay off Kane for now til the injury news clears up. Or not…my hopes are gonna be dashed tho I know it

I like accairi and Megna as under the radar moves.

We need another shooter/scorer, and fast. Kravtsov has really set them back a bit as he hasn’t developed just yet. But we need to fill in someone in that role that he would be in. Maybe he stays maybe he goes, but his spot is really crucial going forward the rest of this season

Meh, I think Beau is overrated.

Theres a lot of talk of Meier, however Im gonna throw out another name on SJ. Alexander Barabanov... hes having a good year AND hes signed for one more year at 2.5m.

Another player Id be interested in making a move for is Marchenko from CBJ, he clearly likes to score goals... cause its all hes done in the NHL.

Marchenko is interesting. Although I’m not quite sure how you don’t get a single assist

99.9% sure all those scouts are there to see Gavrikov.

Also Marchenko is 22 and on a good contract, I doubt they trade him

Vancouver GM Patrik Allvin's words on Monday (per TSN CA.) after his return received for Bo Horvat:
"It's kind of like we got three first rounders back."

Should Allvin not be replaced as GM as rumors early this season there began surfacing, Beau may not be a trade candidate at all, unless the return offered Allvin is "a can't refuse one."

I realize that I am in the minority here, but the piece that I think we are missing is a partner on DEFENSE for Schneider. Gavrikov would be my top priority ( or someone similar ) if I am Drury.

Call me an optimist, but I wouldn't be looking for a big name forward because I think the kids are only going to get better as the season progresses!

I’d like a 3rd pair dman and a few depth forwards. Lauzon for Kravtsov could work, NSH is in the bottom 5 for goals for.

Gavrikov would be a big mistake, the price is not worth the TOI he will get being a 3LD. There are several very serviceable LD that should be available to pair with Schneider that wont cost a 1st round pick.

Larry Brooks saying probably no Patrick Kane to Rangers, but doesn't mention anything about surgery or anything like that

It’s the right move. The assets we’ll give up to get him won’t be worth the 34 year old, broken down, hip surgery needing self he is now.

Barbashev could be a nice 4th line addition. Plays a playoff style game and incase of an injury could slide up into the top 9 (had 60 pts last year).

I think they are gonna target a RW shooter, like Vatrano was, not necessarily Vatrano again, but somebody that shoots the puck

its kind of discouraging that Barbashev has been so bad in the playoffs offensively in his career, I wouldnt count him out, but I dont know

Do you want the team to make any deals

Yes

Who do you want the Rangers to sign (forward or defense)?

Top 6 that can play RW

Who do you think New York will actually sign?
A top 6 RW and 3rd pair depth

Which player do you not want the Rangers to acquire (should be easy for some to answer ) and why?
Kane due to injury

Who is untouchable in your mind to deal in any deadline trade?
Chytil, Kakko, Lafreniere, Miller, Schneider, Kravtsov, Othmann, Cuylle, Lindgren

Which assets are you okay with the Blueshirts moving to acquire players?
Draft picks and spare parts

Which area (s) needs the most help at the deadline?
Top 6 that can play RW

What surprise, out of the box move do you think GM Chris Drury will make?
I think he will add the necessary pieces – I have no idea who.

I just do not understand how Kravtsov is untouchable, especially considering Othmann is coming along the way
