They probably want him to keep logging minutes. Maybe he’s ready to play in the NHL, but they’d rather him long more minutes with the Pack per game.

Molly Walker's "hit" piece on the Rangers choosing not to wear uniforms or wrap their sticks in the pride colors was shameful. Looking to pin blame on what should have been a non issue. That the team advertised something that did not happen was an error in and of itself. Perhaps a bunch of players decided on the Provorov approach..... which was accepted by the league......but obviously not by Ms. Walker. Possibly half the team, more or less, could take the ice not wearing the pride colors. Imagine the fallout then in the press on those who chose not to?

And, she might have felt the National Anthem singer's rendition was "goose bumping". I was there and I did not. The National Anthem is not meant to be personalized. He did not present our National Anthem with the dignity it deserved, instead choosing to sway, gyrate and perform it as if it were a Broadway show tune. In my opinion, that was disrespectful to the Anthem itself and to those in attendance who thought it deserved a rendition more suited to the National Anthem of our country.
