Man I really thought Arte Moreno was the worst owner in sports...
But this Aquilini joker is something else...and Rutherford... another clown.. And to think Tocchet is somehow the answer... these people are on drugs.
Come on Verbeek get BB on a plane down to Anaheim.. |

I've seen and heard of some royal screw jobs.. but this is just nuts. Bruce deserved so much better. Awfulini and Rutherford are both just piles.
Nucks roster is like Ducks + 1. Another words ...Awful..

Despite a solid game from Samsonov, the Leafs do not do well against teams that play in the gutter. Run the goalie is not in the DNA of the Leafs, and the coach will not respond in a meaningful way to teams that apply this tactic.

He better come up with a plan for that.. because with Perry, Maroon, Paul, Hagel and others that's all Tampa will do.

Same with Boston. This is a tactic that is very effective against the Leafs. They simply do nothing to protect their goalies. The Habs ran Samsonov at least 4 times last night the only goalie interference penalty called was on Jarnkrok when he was pushed into Montembeault. It's called rarely and unless you have a defender that will to lay an oops upside the head it can be very effective. |

Not sure what that had to do with the game last night. Habs were let into the game when Suzuki outworked first Gio, then Kampf, then Holl along the boards for the puck and passed to wide open Anderson. They tied it by passing past three forwards to set up a 3-on-2. The real gutter play was the Leaf’s attention and energy levels |

Leafs played lousy. The top four, especially JT were especially bad. The tying goal by the Habs resembled a rugby play. The Leafs were satisfied with passing it around for perimeter opportunities while the Hab took over the game in the second period. Samsonov was run into often. I am waiting for the $5000 fine announcement for the slew foot by Pitlick on Samsonov.

The Leafs didn’t lose because they played a team that runs the goalie. None of the goals had anything to do with goalie contact. The tying goal came off a rush when the rebound was chipped over Samsonov. The forwards got left behind on that play. Gio, Kampf and Holl got outworked by Suzuki on the first goal. That’s simple lack of effort. |

Samsonov was run into 4 or 5 times. It is not material whether that contact directly led to a goal, although there was significant contact on the tying goal. He was shaken up at least twice, slow to recover and once had his skates kicked out from underneath him without a call. This was on the same shift that Janrkrok was called for goaltender interference. It is an effective tactic agaist the Leafs IMO.

i’m intrigued😍👍🏿
did they talk about my size (6’5 245), athleticism (complete domination in every sport i played including hockey at age 36)? 👍
my military career defending you all from russia, the talibans and the isises (highly decorated airborne ranger delta force scout swimmer jumpmaster)?👍🏿
or my nhl acumen where i can foresee laff losses for any important game because they don’t dress enough grown men who can bang bodies and pull lawnmowers when the rubber meets the road👍
or did they talk about all 5 of these intriguing topics 😮👍🏿🥰? |
