Well done!

Is Seattle going to buyers at the deadline? I have heard they have looked at Horvat. Anyone know if that's true or is this a moreso stand pat and let the team that got them here to continue?

Horvat would certainly be a player of interest. Team is still missing a legit top six centre (Beniers still young). That being said I think the team will make an add but I don't see it being a massive add that spends a ton of assets. Success for this season would be running with the team as it is plus some depth adds and seeing what they can do in the playoffs. Then adjust in the summer

Horvat was the rumor du jour a bit ago. I don't know how much in the way of actual legs it had. More a who they could add. They have cap space but the cost of Horvat being one of Firkuss or Evans plus plus, doubt Francis gets too carried away. There is also the fact that both teams are in the same division and do either GM want to see the pieces come back to haunt them that many times a season?

Francis has this team well established and set and I think likely only makes a few tweaks. The real interesting thing will be what they do with goaltending. Jones has more than established his dominance and right to the crease at this point. With him in, the team plays better and we win. Gru while he CAN win a game, doesn't steal them and the same issues as last season are still there in his game. He's a rather expensive backup.

For me I would watch for a defence move. We need to add to that depth there. We lose any of our main six and it starts to show. THAT to me is the biggest need.

As much as I like big trades I think a few tweaks is more likely.

Oldest player is 33. Great to see this kind of chemistry that could keep building for a few years. Not sure this team should add. Not sure they have to.

Looking good against the lowly Blackhawks, Matty and McCann having good games.

Looked good but PPG for Domi now has it 6-3. Time to stop sotting back killing the clock and get rolling again.

Chicago announcers mentioned longest on the road win streak with 7 by a team too. Not totally sure of them though.

Hopefully Ron Francis doesn’t get overzealous and buy too much for a playoff push. Team is rolling though!

Nighty thinking they’re getting Wright and 2-2nds for Horvat.

Hey Sean, lifelong (former) Canucks fan, I’m in. If Francis is looking for help at the trade deadline stay the hell away from the dysfunctional Canucks. The players are poison, don’t ruin a good thing.

Only one on the Nucks I would look at is perhaps Schenn for some added depth on defence so we aren't just having Fleury in case of injuries. The one spot where depth really is weak. We dont need more offence at all. Up front what we could use is a couple depth strong PK players to bolster that aspect and weakness there. Really I don't see Francis adding a lot at high costs. Certainly not giving up Wright plus plus plus.

NOT our day and the win streak and run ends at 8. Tampa is a tough team so wasn't like we got blown out there either. Another good game and showing overall and time to just regroup, bounce back, and jump on another tear.

Got some help tonight though. Dallas and Nashville beat the Knights and Flames

He has been fairly patient so far. I think he remains fairly calm. Definitely reward your players with maybe filling a hole or two to shore up for a run.
