Cool story in the Athletic about the Penguins. They played in Vancouver yesterday, the last game of a 10 day road trip. They were supposed to fly home last night for a game tomorrow. Instead, the players and coaching staff decided to fly to Montreal, arriving at 4 a.m. so they could all attend the funeral of Letang’s dad today and then then head back to Pittsburgh even though it cost them a lot of rest.

Burke built the pooptiest version of the 2006 Ducks he could and got canned justifiably. Loved the media personality, hated the results. Aside from Rielly his legacy with the Leafs is bluster, overpriced hotdogs and gaining a national platform to tell cool stories.

AL East parks will be nice for him and he’ll get a lot of DH starts and plug in at first for Vladdy some.
