Concerns rising...only among the flimsy-hearted. Those of us with natural grit are not so instantly disregulated.

Okay, trashing other teams on this thread as a sort of reverse troll is admittedly a cheap thrill. But cheap thrills are delicious.

I was really not surprised with Seattle and how they played. I was more surprised at the lackluster effort from the Leafs. Couldnt seem to get anything going and some real bad defensive lapses and weak goaltending.

Overall I do still wonder on the overall team will to win. Skill and talent is there but…

Just take a read at some of the other blog comment sections......Leafs living in they heads of millions rent free and constantly trashed in those blog comments so it cuts both ways.

Not all teams can have the deeply seeded, do anything to make it happen desire & will to win like the storied NHL franchise known to many as the Phil Mc Krakens.

I get cap but teams and GMs can make it work and the Leafs have enough guys to part with that are on roster to make work with combo of prospects and picks in my opinion anyways.

Give the Leafs two physical intense players up front (very much lacking presently) and a stay at home very physical and responsible dman.

Some players that can be moved: (again in combo)

Kerfoot, Sandin or Lili, Engvall, Holl, Robertson, One of the Finnish prospects, picks

Maybe even Jarnkrok or Holmberg…which I wouldn’t personally buy maybe for cap

The funniest is when I say something like, I think the Flames are in a tough spot going forward. Then people say the Leafs haven't won in the playoffs for a long time. Like I don't know that. I've been on the HB Leafs thread for a decade. Obviously I'm aware of the past performance of the Maple Leafs. It's like hey, at the end of Romeo and Juliet they both die. What's it got to do with the Flames' future, which is dismal at best?
