Ned was pretty good the first year we had him and most Wings fans were excited to get him from Carolina for a pretty cheap price... but then his play went downhill near the end of the season. He started letting in soft goals from time to time. He's been bad this year too... Husso is now carrying the Red Wings in net and doing a fantastic job. Ned needs a conditioning stint in the AHL to try and get his game back to where it needs to be.

Ned gave up soft goals in CAR also, especially in the playoffs. Overrated, and not consistent.

Noticed Kotkaniemi picked up yet another point tonight. He's on a bit of a heater. Imagine Montreal picked him ahead of Brady Tkachuk. For real!! Then Waddell doubled down with the offer sheet. It definitely has a humorous angle. Lose-lose. Moral of the story is bide your time when it comes to revenge.
