Kyle Fleming suggests the Preds send VAN Tolvanen, Fabbro, a 2023 1st and 3rd to win the bidding war for Brock.

A very good source? As opposed to your usual crap sources?

LeBrun said yesterday he spoke directly with his agent, and his agent has spoken to over 6 teams. None are imminent and he said only one had serious interest but it they would need Vancouver to eat a serious amount of the contract which right now they dont want to do. He said it is going fo take a lot of work and likely take right up to the deadline. But I guess your “very good source” knows better.

This is a odd move by Montreal, I thought they were rebuilding.

Boeser is the obvious cap dump for Vancouver right now.

Who will get in line for the $6.5m?

So first we were told Montreal has too many forwards and is desperately trying to move someone like Dadonov, Hoffman, Anderson, Drouin, Gallagher. But now they want to add the underachieving Boeser and his awful contract? How exactly can they do that without sending any dollars back to Vancouver? Maybe there is a thyroid team involved?

What is interesting is that Lebrun reported 6 teams in the mix, but didn't name them. Whereas you've identified all 6 thanks to your connections.

Trying to figure out how the money works? How can Montreal be best positioned to not have Vancouver retain salary? I thought they only had $2.7-2.8MM left in LTIR relief. Boeser's salary is $6.5MM. There seems to be a gap of just under $4MM.

Follow the money and you will generally find who can and who can't.

Don't be so harsh. Eklund doesn't understand how the salary cap works

Sabres are definitely not interested. Their top 2 lines are solidified for years to come.

Ok I don’t understand this. Why you being like this? I’m not saying he has a source or not but LeBrun isn’t the only one who has “sources” just wanted to fill you in on this.

Name me one thing that his “sources” have been correct on in the past decade or so? Or ever? Oh right there was that one thing in 2008 or about that time but anything else?
I see many of the other critical posts have been deleted. Not mine. Why? Because everything I said is true.
