In before some turd comments on some spelling/autocorrect issues. No one cares.

Your assessment of Goodrow's usage and Kravtsov's non-usage is completely in line with mine

Is it goodrows fault?

It’s just like Hunt. Hate the coach I get it

- Slimtj100

It's the coach's fault. I think they brought in Goodrow to be a middle 6 guy despite him being of bottom 6 quality.

If he were lights out on faceoffs I might not be as annoyed but he isn't good at that either right now.

Solid recap. Good to see 13, 72, and 24 score. Would be understanding if thar line stayed together. Might want them split given, what the line 20-16-26 looks like against Colorado. 20-16-26 had a decent 1st period. (Out attempted Vegas 5-1 that period.) Then they got caved in.

Good win. Igor looked good. Had no shot to save the goal.

Goodrow...

Full disclosure. This exact conversation is why he is no longer is here. Because for like 30 seconds it was a positive day, but Goodrow gave the puck away twice and that’s all we can muster up in conversation 🤷🏻‍♂️

Couple of wins in a row, one being against a top team in their own barn....all is well in Rangers land again?

I have Fox and Trouba in our banger Yahoo fantasy league. They're both studs for me.

"had an uneven game. Besides the pass, and the fight he had with Keegan Kolesar, his game was very uneven. Several defensive mistakes, but in Gallant's view, he balances that line out and is best suited to skate with Panarin and Chytil. I still think he is miscast there and should be on the third or fourth line. His assist yesterday and team win likely means he will remain on that trio."

Top team without 2 of their top players in their own barn where they are significantly worse than they are on the road. Still a good victory, but let's not get crazy

Not the vibe I got. Just doesn't want to harp on it. Which is fine. I, on the other hand, will.

He also took 2 offensive zone penalties. Both times the Rangers had a the puck in a 1-1 game. How is that anyway a positive?

No, I have been pretty on board since his acquisition where he is best suited to play. I think they need to see what they have in Kravtsov before writing him off or losing him completely. In my opinion, they have not yet done that. Sitting him yesterday doesn't help in that regard. Goodrow should ideally be on the third line, but on this time, the fourth line is his optimal spot. You should already know I don't just tow the line.

Right. It's not just that Goodrow isn't suited for that line. It's also the fact that GG has made the calculation that it is inextricably tied to Kravtsov not being in the lineup.
