Well they ought to make that dude 'answer the bell' - but looking at Hockeyfights.com - no one can actually make anyone answer the bell - it just looks like a bunch of awkward hugging.
It was laughable that they called that Toews thing a 'fight' -let alone getting an 'instigator' -he should have gotten 2 minutes for initiating a public display of affection. Another 5 minutes for not getting it past a G rating... and then 10 minutes for being boring. But then again I'm from the past and just watched a Dave Manson highlight video (by accident) on youtube. |

As with politics where we never know the real story we the public don't know exactly the thoughts and are not given the exact truth by management about a player's feelings to be traded
We can surmise that we won't get as good a return for Kane as we would like.
I doubt any team is going to overpay for Toews
I do believe some of these kids on defense in Rockford will break into the lineup and although they may have some ups downs, long term , they cannot be as bad as C Jones and as lumbering as Timordi.
Our hope has to be that these kids turn out fairly good, and with good team support Soderstrom and eventually Commeso can hold the fort. We desperately need a top three pick so that we have.a Bina fide top line player to replace a Kane. Replacing Kane is not something you say you automatically get when you draft a top three in "23, but sooner or later a top line player = what you wanted when we selected him. Which is a top line player. No comparison to Kane or anyone else.
Other prospects coming in, or filtering in can help too, but we need.that early first round |

Maybe your goalie should “answer the bell” for skating outside the crease and into Cizikas who was clearly skating around the side of the net 🙄 |

The announcer for the hawks just said “they’re pitching a tent in the zone” lmfao!!!!!
Thanks Wirtz for ousting Foley if that’s what it was… I’d rather have Dan Kelly from CBJ a while back…. Disgusting |

Or maybe having C Jones on the ice has something to do with it. He’s been on the ice for all three goals. |

Think it is pretty obvious why Olczyk left, Fosters is a tool. He will not be the play by play man when the Hawks are good again. Sadly, Fosters is here for at least the next 5 years. Olczyk was stuck with Kelly when the Hawks were awful, sure he didn’t want to deal with another awful team and announcing partner. Foley needed to be done, but Fosters is a tool. |

Really? At the end of the day it just plain didn't matter -because the point was it wasn't going to happen, was it? Unless you call whatever that was -that... and it wasn't.

If Kane is traded (and that’s a big IF) I expect the return will be something along the lines of a 2024 1st and a b-level prospect. |

Really disappointed but not too surprised if your claim for Kane actually happens. I could live with the mid to late 2023 first and a better prospect. Perhaps KD has the idea that whatever team he agrees to a trade, they must include a forward prospect for one of our dmen prospects. We have an abundance of dmen youngsters but certainly hardly any offensive forwards who.could one day dent the NHL nets |

That's just Darth using the sarcasm tool again. He knows that the return for Kane will be nowhere near that good. |

I am impressed with Sharp. We all know he has hockey smarts, but he walks the line between that and the company line really well. The guy I really can't stand is Romeleotis or whatever his name is.

So am I, i appreciated his comment about how he knows playing all those years in the playoffs shortened his playing career. I just didn't have enough time to really heal and rest my body in between seasons.

I like Sharpie's response to Voisters annointing Soderblom as the new Crawford. Sharp was like eh, no, Crawford was the best goaltender he ever played with. |

Sounds about right. Will get back some money more than good prospects. |
