Matt Ross: Game #22: Edmonton Oilers

St Louis game was a total disaster. Last season, we had the feeling the Panthers could/would win every game regardless of the score. This year, it feels the Panthers can blow every game regardless of the score.

I kept expecting Spencer to pull off his glove and put it on his other hand while saying... "I am not left handed." But it was not to be.

Hard to see how a flat tire can fuel the team, but maybe Maurice is a lot smarter than we think.

Maybe I'll be happy if the Panthers can stay awake and interested through the whole game, which should end around midnight FL time. Sad to think what that says about how far down our expectations have been re-set.

...while trying to maneuver around the $10 million anchor he inherited on the SS Minnow. Having zero cap room to add anyone better, The Staal bros playing so much is on Zito as much as Maurice.
Short term pain...long term gain; well, at least that’s the plan. We’ll see.
Can’t say his choice of coach inspires much confidence, yet.

We are sinking into the sunset and the Montreal Canadians are licking their chops because they have our first draft pick and it will be a high one. Zito has us playing like the Blue Jackets from which he came as an assistant. Time to get rid of Maurice and the Staal brothers.

How pathetic was last night's game? We get scored on while on the powerplay. Huberdeau in all his glory scores and makes all kinds of assists. We have a goalie that couldn't stop a beach ball and a coach that doesn't have a clue. No more we want ten. Who wants to spend money to see this garbage.
