Why even bother having refs when they blatantly don't do their jobs?

Missed icing leads to first LA goal
Goodrow takes substantial hit to face/head with a stick 12 ft. from net
Kakko hooked/held at least twice on scoring chances
Clutching and grabbing all over the ice by both teams, particularly in the third

The fact that the refs let EVERYTHING go for both sides doesn't make it ok. Rangers rely on their power play and clearly earned several...

Lets take the 2 points and go Duck hunting tonite!

The Goodrow one was blatant and he was not happy coming to the bench.

I mean it is a 2025 pick but the cap space is the real prize here. I’ll miss him though

not a cap guru here, but if his hit was 1.75m and there's about 75% left of the season, that gives us about 1.3m in added space now, right?

Per Brooks: In trading Reaves, the Rangers clear the remaining $1.343M of No. 75's cap hit that equates to approximately $4.8M at the deadline.

I am disappointed that this didn't work out better. He was a necessary evil and for awhile, he did his job well. But times change and he had to go. I wish him well, except when he plays us!

Now if we could only move on from Sam Rosen....

No way were getting Kane without sending Kakko the other way.

Nah I think they could. He’s a UFA, no way they’d trade Kakko in that deal.

I think he’s still hurt lol if he would stay healthy he’d be great but he is made of one ply toilet paper. They really need to get Panarin going 5 on 5 imo

Edit: he just came back into their lineup.

Personally, If Im Drury I throw all the eggs in one basket and see what it costs to get Kane and Toews from them.

Reunite them with Panarin, Im sure that would be fun to watch.

The greatest ability is AVAILABILITY. Chychrun is a good player, but he is ALWAYS hurt. Only 24 years old but he's never played more than 68 games in a season in his career.
I wouldn't HATE it if the Rangers got him, but I think there are better options for us.
