Credit the Wild for changing to a more defensive game after too much up and down to begin the season however they need to start playing better at home. Now is as good of a time as any to get some home cooking.
This team is awful right now… Defense needs total rebuild. Dumba sucks, Middleton is average, Merril is average. Spurgeon is ok, but should not be captain. Brodin has lost a step or two. Addison has yet to prove much of anything.
Why the hell is Rossi on the PP?!! Literally NOTHING positive EVER happens when he’s on the ice. He’s clearly not ready for the bigs and quite frankly he does not look like a number one pick in any way.

The defense has definitely fallen back. Dumba has become the biggest liability and he’s clearly in decline. The most penalty minutes in his career was 59. This year he’s on pace for over a 100. He’s taking bad penalties because he can’t defend. Dumba will get 6-7.5 mil if he signs another contract. They need to move on from him.

The problem is most of the players are playing higher up in the lineup than they should. Duhaime, Dewar and Shaw are the only young players that belong on the team. But none of them can be counted on for secondary scoring. If you send Rossi down, who do you bring up? Beckman, Fogerty, Cramerossa don’t bring much. Maybe give Chaffee a chance. I think they should just let Rossi play. His replacements are not upgrades. This team is a mess.
