So I’ve only been able to catch one game this year thus far. Statistically they seem to be scoring more this year, so what’s the deal? Playing poop D at evens? Sorokin and Varly letting in bad goals? Team struggling to adapt to a new system?

It's falling in love with medicore vets and being afraid to make big moves not wanting to break up this awesome team. Team loses twice to Tampa in the ECF and Lou's answer is very little moves to get over the top.

They have 19 total goals and 12 of them came against the Ducks and Sharks. They have four total goals in the four games that they've lost. The forward group isn't good.
