Riley Sutter not Suter. Ronnie Sutter’s kid not Ryan Suter’s kid.

Last year you called Riley Barber a "substantive" free agent signing by the Red Wings. I tried to explain that he was nothing more than an AHL body. He's 28 years old with 16 career games spread out over his career. What do you like about his game? |

Very possible Ratcliffe is claimed - Based on what? Another unimpressive camp? Guy was invisible and looked lost.
Maybe some team sees his size as the next Tage Thompson right? |

The medication has slowed down some of the voices in his head. |

Riley Barber's father Don Barber played 115 games in the late 1980's and early 1990s. His last game was in 1991-92 with San Jose. It's possible that Riley would end up back in San Jose where he has fond memories of watching his father Don play. The fact that Riley wasn't even alive at the time and was born years later is merely a minor detail. Besides, the Sharks could use him right now. |

Don Barber had his best year with the North Stars in 1990. My 95 year old neighbor told me that he remembers Riley playing tag with Kieffer Bellows at the Met Center. Could be a bidding war between the Sharks and the Wild.

Hall of famer and one of the best two way left wingers of all time, but hey let’s not let his amazing history of excellence interrupt your little agenda ripped w jealousy. Let’s maybe comment on things you actually know something about shall we…

Another failed draft pick by arguably the worst GM in Flyers history. Just what in gods name did the pens see in that guy. I know he has an big brother to watch over him, but good grief… |

gracing another thread with your top notch takes, Joe. All that money and time you spent watching the game live has really paid off. Talk about ROI.... |

Agreed. I liked Hextall as a player, but he was by far the worst GM in Flyers history.
All of his stock-pilling of “picks and prospects” got us no where. The great majority of his picks were complete BUSTS. His free agent signings a complete joke. Hakstol?? Give me a break. He set this franchise back 5-10 years, easily. And Fletch isn’t making things any better.
Our only hope as Flyers fans is that Hexy brings the same doom to the Penguins |
