Had Norris votes at 22/23, same age Lil was last season.
Hasn't missed a game in 2 of his last 3 seasons. |

Think would try to get Muzz to waive to be part of the trade. Otherwise maybe Robidas his back to LTIR till contract is done?
I could see Kerfoot possibly if they feel ZAR and or Gaudette can slot in and they dont lose too much.

A deal would likely consist of either Sandin or Timothy Liljegren, a #1, and perhaps a contract like Alex Kerfoot or Justin Holl, but Dubas may balk at including a top prospect like Topi Niemela or Matthew Knies.
If Armstrong did a deal and didn't ask or demand Willy he should be fired...
Leafers won't do that and Shouldn't So I can't see this deal happening.

Dahlstrom is no loss to the Leafs. Marlies? Yes. But Leafs...no. He is an AHL-level player...no more, no less.
I don't think the timing of this rumour with the Sandin signing is a coincidence. If a deal is done, Sandin is part of it, otherwise his spot on the depth chart will mean his agent has him sitting out and demanding a trade by Christmas.
Just a question of who else gets moved with him and a #1 pick. I hope Joey Anderson and Kerfoot would get it done. Anderson is waiver fodder at this point, and while Kerfoot has value, ditching his salary has more value when Jarnkrok can fill his role.

Arizona wouldn’t want any of that other than the first. |

Sandin, a 1st rd pick, Kerfoot and a prospect like Roni Hirvonen would be fair I think |

I mean if the Leafs want JC they’d have to beat out a team like LA that could offer a far far superior package than that bunch of crap. |

To be fair why is Chychrun even worth luke-warm garbage? His value is so high based on what they think he is going to do? Because it's not based on what he has done so far.
2 assets with potential is the max he is worth, unless he can play a full season and maybe get some Norris consideration not worth anymore.

None of those players are hot garbage, weak sauce trolling. Chychrun is coming off a lousy year for a lousy team. It is easy to overpay big time for dmen in a trade or as a UFA. Some recent examples Vegas overpays for Pietrangelo, missed the playoffs will probably be several years before they make the playoffs again. Chicago overpays for Seth Jones, 2nd worst +/- in the NHL last season. LA overpays for Doughty - that will soon be one of the worst contracts in the NHL.
Chychrun's contract is desirable, he's decent, whether he will be a stud d-man is a big maybe. |

The rumour is that 6 or 7 teams have checked in Chychrun. The Leafs blogger wrote about one of those teams.
Leafs right now have Rielly, Gio (age 38), Sandin, Brodie and Holl as fully healthy. Why trade Sandin? |

Yeah, Muzzin not injured and presumably not interested in trade. Otherwise solid plan. |
