Really like what Tony D is bringing to the table, doesn’t sugar coat things and tells it like it is. Seems like he’s ready for a challenge and wants it

Wasn’t a single puck that hit the ice so I doubt it

SO how long before Provorov wants a trade?

No PP time anymore will have him crying again, and then his play will go down hill.

Trade him now get that 1st rd for this years draft and other assets.

IF chyc is worth 4 assets then provorov should be worth close to that.

Also see what the market is like for TK & Lauts.

This team will not compete for a playoff spot so selling assets for picks and prospect makes the most sense. Dont attach assets to trade players though, such as Hayes or coots but we need to get all the high priced guys out because they have proven nothing so it is time to move on.

Colin Felix looks to be in incredible shape apparently. Worked out a lot this summer and looks cut.

This GM will likely imo not move these guys. I will be shocked if it happens. Hopefully both ask to be moved,

No pucks on ice, so they probably all looked great by not having to show off their stone hands.

Going back to read the blog, but did anyone standout for the wrong reason, like not having the conditioning for the skating session? Sorry if you mentioned it already.

Blll do you get the sense the Flyers will look to acquire a center to help offset the Couturier loss?

Hayes - Laughton - Frost - ? is a 100% recipe for immediate disaster is likely to be what Chuck is thinking.

Torts said just making it through the practice was the goal, he didn't care if they could barely skate, as long as they kept going, no mention of any player who didn't finish

Up until what transpired last season, I did not. But these players need some accountability.

As others have said, no pucks were on the ice, but Provorov stood out from a conditioning standpoint. I guess the dudes a beast in the off-season.

I also read that MacEwen handled the skating well too. Didn't get as winded quickly as some of the others.

Why would you try and trade Provorov? He has one of the best contracts for the Flyers RN.

THe most lightly mentioned of the changes to the operations is PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE and may be the most critical.
Keeping the bones aligned with soft tissue considerations is a great approach to a team with constant injury issues. Working on gaining strength about the joints will cut down on the shoulder, hip, core, and knee problems.
You can also explore what equipment is used to augment a player's ability to shrug off
powerful contact with other players and obstacles.
If we can keep a team on the ice, that will be an improvement.
We can't protect them against having contact, so let's make them more capable of withstanding it.
At least I can support this one managerial mod.
