I think his body is broken, and at this point, athletes make so much money, they'd rather be able to keep walking without (or minimal) pain for the rest of their lives.

Not like the 70s, where those guys would get shot up with drugs before every game cause they needed the money just to pay rent and then be virtual cripples for the rest of their lives.

So I get it.

I always liked Subban.

But I also think he had the talent to be a lot more than he was on the ice.

Overpaid, yes. But he didn't have "one fluke year".

It's weird, but I don't care that much. I liked PK, but maybe it's because he was already playing with another team...

Well Price was our franchise player for more than a decade.

P.K. won a norris in Montreal, was a controversial player in the lockeroom and ended up getting traded, playing half of his career elsewhere.

It's just not the same, despite the donations to the hospital.

My favorite was the straight-out-of-the-box breakaway playoff goal.

I remember we were down on a pretty long five-on-three, and the Bruins were all over us. It seemed like a pure miracle simply that they didn’t score, and then Eller suddenly looks up, finds PK, and the Subbanator fakes out Rask!

From looking like we’re in trouble to suddenly up 2-0 with an electrified Bell Centre, it was one of the best 180 moments I’ve seen in sports.
