and trade/waive a RW (Simmonds)

Bunting Matthews Marner
ZAR Tavares Nylander
Engvall Kampf Jarnkrok

I was hoping Verbeek brought him back... he was more than ok for us in the short time he was here.

He's a pro and who knows what he is and isn't ...

You’re going to put za guy with five goals and fifteen points last year on our second line?

FFS, I’d rather see Robertson there - and no, I don’t actually want Robertson there.

P.S. I’m leaving the typo, because for some reason it makes me laugh.

He’s za guy!

Which is more likely a fourth not a second liner.

Bunting 2.0👍
Maybe Engvall

That line needs a grinderrrr, not skill

Also not opposed (if they keep Smurfoot and trade Muzzin)…….
Kerfoot Matthews Nylander
Bunting Tavares Marner

Lots of options 👍

I think there’s a good chance Willie starts on za third line anyway.

Muzzin has a full NTC - he can't be traded unless he agrees. Not impossible but not likely that he is moved. Kerfoot much easier to move and should get a reasonable return. Holl is another that needs to be gone. Leafs are about $1.5M over the cap without signing Sandin.

Quite right... he was better than what we had on 3rd or 4th lines.

Smart. Plays hard and doesn't take dumb penalties.

Engvall JT Nylander give him 20 games to find some chemistry, win Stanley Cup.

Thank me later

Youtube offers very few videos of the late great Hendrix. I always wondered why the crowd at this show was full of so many teeny boppers. Now I realize that Jimi's band was the backup on this tour for the Monkees.

He only opened for them for about 8 concerts. The other thing is that a lot of kids still looked pretty straight even when they were digging Hendrix and dropping acid. Look through the crowd shots at his Berkeley concert and you’ll people who looked like they got lost on their way to the young Republican convention

Wouldn’t anyone who attended a young Republican convention have already lost their way?

Another home run by Dubas. Big guy with great stats. He knows leafs are favorites to win the cup this year and will bust his ass to make the team.

ZAR is one of the best defensive forwards in the league the past several seasons... He just doesnt produce a lot... But usually looks like he should when on the ice, if that makes any sense haha. I think it's possible for him to get an uptick in production. I liked him on the Pens.

Lost? They were the princes and princesses of the greatest and richest country the world had ever seen just before it started it’s decline. Martinis by the pool. Nice big cars. All the best big pharma had to offer. Life was good.

My understanding is that sociological posts are allowed. I may be proved to be wrong very shortly.

Sounds like a good pickup for the leafs then. Maybe he’ll play with kampf in a shut down 3rd line roll.

I’ve also forgot most of the players who the leafs signed to 3rd and 4th line duties in the offseason.

I also completely forgot mikhayev signed with Vancouver.

Not to complicate things, but can you leave it up to the HB refs to define 'sociological'?

Oh I will and I accept their judgement. It’s just sometimes I find out I’ve made a “political” post after the fact. Anyway, by young Republican you could just say rich white Americans of the day.

I love the lineup fun! Always interested in the combos people come up with. Hockey fun at its best, man.

Bunting-Matthews-Nylander
Kerfoot-Tavares-Marner
ZAR-Kampf-Jarnkrok
Engvall-Gaudette-Aube Kubel

Simmonds/Clifford if they need a scrap in lineup

Overall - I think Dubas did a great job with bottom 6 options this year. Pesky, quick, defensively sound players.

I would’ve like him to find a 2nd guy for JT/Willy to be able to keep Marner with 34 but that 3rd and 4th lines will be no liability at all this season and can swing games when needed (when big boys have off nights)….obviously tenders are concern but it is what it is! Still time for a couple move to be honest so ya never know.
