Karine Hains: Caufield on the Raw Knuckles Podcast There’s lots of podcasts out there these days but I’ve got to say I’ve got a soft spot for Chris Nilan’s one and this week, his guest was none other than Cole Caufield.

Gally can't skate, never could, and the older he gets the worse his skating gets.

6.5 million......God that has to hurt.

- Frozendisc

bah, he's never been the fastest skater but that hasn't stopped him from consistently scoring 20+ goals per season. he just needs to better manage his energy throughout a game, he's a smart enough player to make the necessary adjustments, and St-Louis might be able to help him with that.

i always found to knuckles to be pretty bad on the radio. However, he was really good on chiclets a few months ago. Chris is much better in a free flowing broadcasf and can speak his mind without holding back

I thought he wasn't doing such a bad job at TSN690, after a few years working there he gained experience and eventually got more comfortable, but I get what you're saying, the podcast format is a much more natural fit for him.

yeah... like I'm saying I did find he was decent most of the time he spent on air but come to think of it guys like Tony Marinara might have skewed my opinion of Nilan a bit, since listening to him was almost soothing compared to Tony's atrocious radio trainwreck lol

Marinaro could make almost anyone with a bit of talent seem like howard stern. ever since the pizza boy left, many at the station have taken jabs at him, according to my sources

yeah I don't think they paid homage to him or anything when he left lol... and his "Sick podcast" sucks, which ironically is one of the reasons why he quit, because his bosses at TSN weren't very fond of the idea of him having his own podcast not related to the network while he worked there.

now he'll be working in french at 91.9 sports, oy vey.

I remember him on l'attaque a cinq where he looked like a pumpkin in a tight, orange dress shirt and putting a beat down on the french language

Jean Perron showing his teeth like an angry dog when a co-host disagreed with him was top notch television

there was one time at the end of a show I think it was Perron who was arguing with JiC, it got so intense that the way the broadcast was abruptly cut off it gave the impression that they actually got into a fistfight. Jean Pagé had completely lost control of the panel, not that he had a control over things very often... good times lol.

That and François Gagnon being forced to apologize to PJ Stock because he said something about not being a real local boy because he's from the west island and peaked in midget.

It was the big thing on team 990 the next day.

Just think though, Gagnon got so upset at what the only ex-nhl on the panel said, that he pulled the "you weren't any good" card.

jebus... if those two got into a fistfight it would probably look like the time Paul Byron got real courageous and decided it was a good idea to fight Weegar, to honor the player "code". so, so dumb.
