I have a very bad feeling. The Fedotov situation is either going to be resolved with a promise of $$$ when the sanctions are lowered, or it isn’t getting resolved and this kid will suffer.

Not sure where you have that number from? Currently (taking Brink out of the picture) they have 20 players signed with Frost, MacEwen and Tippett to sign (all restricted free agents with Frost being a 10.2(c)) and just over 6 mil in cap space.

Smart play this year is to let the kids play and see what we have moving forward.

Frost 3x2.5
Tippett 3x3

Let these kids earn there contracts, enough with overpaying and letting them get comfortable and then there stats go down. Always amuses me that these players have career years when there a UFA. Why didnt they play that way all of the time? So to me that means money is the motivator. let them earn it!

All three guys should cost next to nothing to sign, which is an advantage. I believe Seattle going into their first offseason makes interesting for the rest of the league, as well as some of the biggest names on the UFA market that we’ve seen in I can’t even remember how long. I don’t expect much from the Flyers but we do know they’ll be aggressive.
