I’d stay far away from Debrincat. The cost will be absurd. Let someone else see what he can do away from Kane and pay him like he’s playing with Kane. Nichuskin is someone I’d entertain for the right price but we also have a log jam of bottom 9 players so we’d have to move one or two guys out which isn’t exactly a bad thing. |

If they are going to add and we know they are, I would rather keep JVR and free up Cap by trading a Lindblom for a pick, or another piece to make space. JVR needs to stay till the deadline unless they can move him with holding cap or a late pick |

Nichuskin has been phenomenal and a real revelation. He has utterly terrorized the left side of Tampa D when Hedman has been off the ice. |

Don’t mind me just venting from Facebook comments I just read but how does anyone still thin Hart is one of the best young goalies in the league lol. It’s not all the team in front of him. |

Flyers have re-signed Felix Sandstrom
https://twitter.com/NHLFl...&t=_amRferQkvFlimmp4Hon7Q - Flyerfan2868
GOOD! There is no reason why they can't have Felix and/or Fedotov compete for the backup job or even the starter if they can take it. Sick and tired of the rehashed old vet for too much money. |

Myrtetus did a damn good job in that interview, getting Torts in his groove right away and coaxing a lot of candor out of him. |

would have thought for sure he was gone. Wonder how that effects Ersson - hello it's me 2050
Same, i thought they wouldve went with Errson and Ustimenko

I just though he would see the crowded crease (Hart Fedotov, Ersson to an extent) and leave. IMO Utstimenko isn't even part of the equation.

I'd be very leery of Nichuskin...he's going to come with atleast a 5.5-6 million price tag after putting up +50 points on a stacked Colorado team. Unless you have that same kind of talent to surround him with, I'm not throwing that kind of money and term at him based off a single season. There's no question that he has the skill, but he won't get the same kind of match-ups or support on this team.

Apparently not. I thought they wouldve moved on from Sandstrom and see what they have with him.

Errson and fedotov are both interesting. But having the goalie prospect is good. Rather have more than naught. |

Poach that entire line... Burakovsky and Kadri are UFA too
(but seriously, I'd be wary of Nichushkin as well) |

Good read on Nichushkin, Bill. I had forgotten that you were covering the Stars for awhile, too, and had a good read in what was happening behind the scenes there as well. |

The Flyers need to rebuild, not chase free agents. The team is garbage as it’s assembled. There is some nice pieces in place but you need elite talent to win Cups. Something devoid within the organization.
It’s one thing to have a poopty team, it’s entirely different when you have a poopty organization, which is where this franchise has landed since being taken over by a corporation.
You know, back in 2007 the team was terrible but they had two good young centers and they worked hard, they played Flyer hockey and the attendance was over 19,000 fans regularly. Until the people in charge realize the errors of their ways and the team gets back to playing Flyer hockey, this team is doomed.
Go Flyers! |

Definitely makes it interesting...I'm hopeful Tortorella can help stabilize the defensive zone play and in turn stabilize the goaltenders, or atleast give them a fighting chance. Should help Hart, but I'm most eager to see what Fedotov can do here. I think he has the potential to ultimately assume that starting role |

Don't be giving this front office any crazy ideas.
Checks sports ticker for impending trade of all 3 players rights in the next 2 weeks lol |

The excitement about Debrincat is very real. I would just look up highlights of the player himself. His goals aren’t all tap-ins simply because Kane put a puck perfectly on his stick. Debrincat is fast and is more than capable of creating his own opportunities, including breakaways. His production could possibly go down without Patrick Kane but these pucks aren’t rolling passed the goal line because they deflected off Debrincat. He looks like a really good young player. |

Question to debate.
Are Lindblom and Laughton both on this team to start the season? Both make 3million. Lindblom has one year until RFA. Laughton has 4 years until UFA. |

I would not be opposed to moving on from both.
