I honestly cannot tell.
Edit: I found that from a Jack Todd article:
Locally, Angela Price and Julie Petry, the wives of Carey Price and Jeff Petry, weighed in with support for the so-called “Freedom Convoy” that was more naive than strident — but in these fraught times, taking a stand in support of any extremist movement is not going to go unnoticed. |

Don't know if she sent money, but I saw a support tweet from her...I think that's when she left social media. I know Angela Price was a fan too.
To be honest, they are completely disconnected from reality. |

It might just come down to money, if Klingberg wants more than Petry’s $6.25 M cap hit, the Canadiens’ vet might become an interesting option, especially if Hughes is willing to part with some draft picks to sweeten the deal since Dallas only has 6 picks in each of the next 3 drats while Montreal has a whooping 14 this year, 9 next year and 8 in 2024.
I don't see Petry has a pure cap dump move, so I'm not sure I agree there. Unless something good is coming back from Dallas.
Other than that, I also think Pitt could be one of the teams interested if they can't keep Letang.
NYI could be another one, but that's more speculation. |

I think if you have enough money to do whatever you want for the rest of your life (and have lots left over), then you are likely to somewhat disconnected from reality by default.
Inflation or price gouging or impacts of a pandemic or anything that does not pierce the bubble they are living in is not a luxury most people have. And a lack of understanding, or perspective, from the majority viewpoint is hardly unexpected.
Not defending, or picking on, just stating what is likely obvious.

I don't really care about what you think on that matter. At some point, theese measures had to (frank)ing stop. |

Like I said I doubt they move him now...could happen at the draft, but still
Maybe after UFA season, when a few teams who struck out could see Petry as a consolation prize... |

I don't care either what you think, and I still respect you, but to support that poop and think that it actually made a difference is very, very (frank)ing dumb. |

If you are determined to trade Petry, you likely have to do that before UFA day... 10 hours later, no one will have cap space.

If an offer makes sense, I think he's gone.
But that's the one thing we are not hearing about. His trade value and the return mtl would get. |

They also come from a place where universal healthcare doesn't exist. They don't have to worry about protecting the system, because when you have money, it's not really an issue. |

Hugo must still think there's some value there, as I do.
Hell the guy completely fell off a cliff, only to regain somewhat with the regime change.
I know, I know..
