Not much hope on the road but no matter what happens the experience these kids gained is invaluable. I wish GG would play the 3rd pair more and give those top 4 a bit of a break. I don’t think Schneider and Braun have been bad and I’ve definitely noticed Trouba/Fox/Lindgren being exhausted out there. No matter what happens the kid line should stay together next year, they look to be the only ones busting it on EVERY SINGLE shift. Every shift they go out there you can see the effort.

Not sure if everyone has seen the brutal assault sucker punch after the game on a Lightning fan. I don't care who the fan base is that is uncalled for. Thankfully so many Rangers fans came to his aid. If you haven't see it its brutal.

I was just wondering if there has been any update on the Lightning fans health and if they caught the sucker punching Ranger fan as well.

Pens were down 3 games to 2 in the ECF vs the Bolts headed back to Tampa for game 6 in 2016 and those playoffs ended very nicely. This is by no means over for you guys. Try and enjoy* the next one and realize there's fans of 28 other teams that wish they were you you.

*its not really enjoyment though is it? can we really call it that when we're absolute nervous wrecks and on so much edge. Deep playoffs runs are not healthy for the fans. They're just not. Its like years of anxiety all in one 2.5 hour game. Not fit.

It's the 'man' version of a woman crying coming out of a movie with an emotional outcome. So I ask the question....who's the bigger pu$$y?

Thanks.
Of course I'll watch and hope on Saturday even though I've resigned myself to the fact that the series is over. It was a good run and we went much further than expected. Too many passengers, betting undisclosed injuries are hampering a few players.

Disgusting. I’m sure the guy in the red shirt was caught, looked like a few people chased after him. Hope the guy who was assaulted is okay.

Rangers have played their best series IMO. Tampa is just a superior opponent compared to the canes and pens. They will capitalize on your mistakes. Very opportunistic teen. How many games have they won with two minutes left to go?

Vatrano and Copp being exposed in the top 6. Career third liners playing too many minutes. Like both players but not where they’re playing. Strome has been a good ranger but it’s time to move on from him.

Trouba attempted hit yesterday was brutal. Has to keep his elbows down. I’m hoping for a game 7 but I can see the rangers getting blow out in Tampa.

No, I didn't hear anything about that. Gotta go Google it now.

Violence over a sports game is the epitome of stupid, but nothing surprises me. Just speaking for myself, if I was an fan in an opposing arena, I'd keep my allegiances to myself and do my celebrating back at the hotel room.

I tend to disagree here. Tampa ultimately may be better but NY has just played too much hockey at this point in the playoffs. The accumulative effect of fatigue and injuries is a huge factor here. If that same 'injury' factor hadn't plagued Pittsburgh I don't even think we'd even be having this current conversation.

That’s what surprising. Tampa is healthy aside from Pointe. Rangers had a tougher time against Pitt who had a 3rd strong goalie and more injuries.

Imagine if Kreider woke up one day and decided to be an aggitator? Guy is just too nice for playoff hockey. Love him and Mika, but they are both just too damn nice. Guys like Palat and Perry are so effective because they are skilled but also such pains in the ass to play against every shift. I think Laf could become a Perry type, you can see his compete level, especially in fighting Stankos at the end.

Win 1 game and Game 7 comes back to MSG. It’s possible boys.

Yeah I thought it was over in 2016 too. I think we (fans) do this to just psychologically prime ourselves, like a defense mechanism for major letdown. Hockey is such a random variance sport though, anything can happen in one game.

Not really surprising when you factor in Shesterkin. Dude is a purpose built robot goalie.

As soon as Copp missed the open net with like 4 minutes left, I said to my gf, Tampa is winning this before the end of regulation.
