It comes down to Tampa Bay selling out on every play and outworking the Panthers. I'm not saying the Panthers aren't trying, but there's a difference between wanting to win doing whatever it takes to win.

Its a little more simple than that. Its the actual guys on the ice not playing afraid and understanding how to win.

Right now, they are tight and lack commitment to match Tampa's effort.

Leafs blew their chance to knock them out before they really got it rolling. The Leafs were a big test, and a good wake up for the Bolts leaving regular season hockey and ramping up their playoff game. You guys had them, but they got going just in time and took it away. Now TB is full steam ahead playoff mode. Defense first and foremost, just snuffing it all out.
And the Panthers are just pooping all over the place trying to find a way through them. They’ve all disappeared

Just listened over to Bruno’s pregame presser. He strongly denied the rumor reported by a Tampa radio station that several players were out at a strip club late last night.
“I don’t know where that comes from. In our universe, probably check your sources.”

The Panthers forfeited their future. No 1st for three years. They won't resign Giroux or Chariot. They probably will let Hornqvist go, not paying him five million. And resign Huberdeau to a big contract and he is not even worth it. The future looks bleak!
