I don’t like Kadri, at all! That said, he was just going for the puck and was bumped into Binner. Did he try his hardest to avoid the collision? Only he knows that. He did not cause the collision and therefore a suspension is not warranted. |

You’d think the Blues players would go after Kadri there, maybe they recognized it wasn’t intentional. |

Watch the replay again and it's KADRI. He obviously knew what he was doing and being reckless = guilt |

No he shouldnt be suspended. How about a comment on the hit on Girard where his head hits the glass and his sternum is broken. Originally thought to be a concussion. You know it was more when he was taken to hospital. |

If you look at the camera angle from the net. you can see Kadri arm reaching towards the direction of the puck when he makes contact with the defenseman.
No suspension |

Take you emotion out of it and it is Team A and Team B going for puck in front of the net. Sorry but that is how I see it. |

So Kadri should be suspended considering his history alone Ek? Glad you wrote this piece, being wrong is a constant eh? Watch the replays. Rosen makes contact with Binnington and his knee. Both players are fighting for a loose puck in front of the net, it's a hockey play. Same as the Barbashev hit, but then again you aren't calling for a suspension for that one huh? |

I’ll be the first to admit I’m pulling for the blues in that series but I really have no stake in the series from a fandom, monetary, or any perspective, just like pulling for the underdog in a series that doesn’t matter to me. That said Kadri isn’t even close to the puck I get the puck was there but his stick thrust at the goalie about 3 ft left of the puck. Then he initiates all contact in the play. Quite frankly I get the argument the puck was there but you can’t tell me he didn’t know what he was doing he bulldozed in there with reckless abandon and saying the puck was in the vicinity is no excuse unless he got a piece of it or was pushed into the pile neither of which is true. Honestly it has nothing to do with the fact it’s Kadri, I don’t care, if that was my teams goalie I’d be livid the league didn’t bother to look at it. It’s a bad look from the league IMO the department of player safety has become a joke since the last CBA and even though some plays like this one are their fault for not reviewing it. Others that result in a 5k fine instead of suspension is a joke that’s a product of the current CBA. |

It is legal to hit defenseman. It can result in injury.
It is illegal to hit goalies in the crease. It can result in injury. |

I dislike Kadri as much as the next guy but I don't think this is even remotely suspendable. |

The fact that the blues weren't all over Kadri is appalling to me. |

What do you mean, not review it? Of course they looked at it. They just concluded no further steps were required because Kadri would not have hit the goalie if the defenceman had not angled him into him. This video is very clear. But hey, Kadri has a reputation.
