1 take advantage of the Keith Bouchard duo, they’re not very good in their own end
2 get some body on McDavid, it’s the best way to try a slow him down
3 traffic in front of Smitty, he’s easily distracted
4 Darnell Nurse, not the smartest guy back there, takes dumb penalties
5 stay out of the box

Lucic knows his role, he showed that against Jamie Benn in the last series. He’ll be ready to go. Flames have other options as well, big timely hits from Zadorov should make the Oilers a little hesitant. Our D is a tough bunch to play against, no easy routes to the net.

I don’t think it’s too serious. He was a full participant in practice yesterday so he’s probably close. Game one is the least important game in any series so it makes sense to play it safe.
