Not going to link to an outside article but there is a Tampa Bay Times headline that reads: "We've seen the eneny, and darned if it isn't the Lightning Themselves".
Now, I'm not always an bumhole but this and Cooper's responses are pretty (frank)ing poopty. Could it be just because the Leafs are playing better?

It is painfully obvious he is trying to take the pressure off his team...as back to back champs? Not a good look and it shows he is scared and not confident.
Hilarious comment this morning by Keefe when being asked about Coopers comments(not a direct quote but what I remember)
"I don't blame him for saying those things, if I were in his position I would be saying those things too"

I'm trying to find the line of objectivity within these games of "They're just better" vs "We're not playing up to our standards."
Look at the Montreal series last year. Did the Leafs beat themselves or did Montreal play good enough to say they won that series? I'd say Toronto lost it. So far I don't think Tampa should be able to say theyre "losing" this series themselves so much as Toronto is just being the better team.
Obviously a lot of hockey to go but (frank) Cooper and the Lightning for thinking they're better than they've been.

Agree. Leafs have been the better team so far and have a little more in the tank I think.
