For starters I never said JT was the better player stats wise. However JT is still great.

However I do feel he makes a better captain for the leafs since it’s his favourite team.

Not everything is about the numbers.

Great player and he's going to get paid after next season when that ridiculous deal expires. Will be very interesting to see what happens with Kadri in the summer. He finished only 5 points back of Rantanen. Avs have a plethora of free agents this year.

The Avs run up scores in a lot of their wins and MacKinnon pads his stats. But so far in his career when they really need him he gets frustrated and tries to do too much and ends up golfing.
