Beyond that, I think the Byram situation dictates a lot more than anything else does at this juncture. It’s the difference between a run at Giroux or a run at Giordano or for a lesser price, Chiarot.

Watched Newhook a lot this year. He should not be available, at least not for a rental. Kadri will likely sign elsewhere as he will command serious cash this off-season. We will need a 2nd line center.

Depth is nice, but don't mess with the chemistry too much. A healthy Byram would also be nice. Mind you, Girard and Byram as 2 of your top 6 D seems fragile come playoff time

If Joe trades Newhook for anything I won't be happy. With Kadri ( prob) gone next year it wouldn't be wise . People don't talk much about Girard being trade bait. I am NOT a fan of Sammy Circles , and with the tam with good blueline depth in the minors I think He is expendable. And I hate to say it , the same for Bo. I love the kid but to be his age with bad concussion problems is concerning . Major talent , but if I were Joe I would be considering him a piece to and trade puzzle. I know they have a "win now " mentality , but there should be two young guys on the current roster that you don't touch.......Hooker and O'Connor . I would offer Sammy and Jost for Giroux
