Missed the game. Sounded like an excellent game from the recaps. Some Ranger fans claiming refereeing bias for the Pens. Any insight?

Refs were letting a lot go. It was a badly officiated game for both sides. Fans of the Rags are gonna complain because the penalty that gave us the PP that Geno scored on was tickytack. But compared to what they were letting go…they’re just sour that Jarry outdueled Shesterkin

Thanks. I saw the penalty. With no point of reference to how the game was called…looked like a penalty the would normally be called. But as I said. Don’t have a game reference.

Another good thing noticed yesterday was the Malkin Heinen connection is working really well. Heinen definitely has the skill to fit in next to Malkin and plays a good complimentary style.

Funny thing was, as usual, they kept referring to Crosby as a "whiner and crybaby" and what did they do? Whined and cried the whole game!

It was a BS hook on Crosby, but they missed plenty (or chose not to call plenty) on the Rags. In typical NHL fashion, they gave the Rags one last chance on the PP and they didn't score. The whole game was very much like a playoff game with playoff reffing.

Crosby and Malkin humming along at a 1.14 point per game pace since the 2019-2020 season started is a sign that Ron needs to pay for help. The window is open, don't close it because a 22nd overall pick might be a 3rd liner in 2026

I think they can/should sell one more year of picks to get what they need.

I was about to trash Kapanen... again, but that was a great effort that led to ERod's breakaway.

Even though down 0-1 I think they've all had a pretty good hustle this period.

I’ve quite liked Friedman when he gets the opportunity to play. He impressed me with his few games last year. I’d rather trade one of petts/matheson and let him be the 3LD

I've always liked what I've seen from him. He fits in really well. I remember him playing RD effectively too. Pretty sure he's said he's comfortable with either side.

I know he’s mostly played LD since his college days. Id much rather free up some money and play him.
