I remember when there was a time (not long ago) when people thought they should let Landy walk. He brings a HUGE game and can do it all. Fights, hits, stands up for his mates, AND scores . He is worth every dime what they are paying him. The best Captain in the NHL and the heart of the Avs. The team is playing like they mean it this year, meaning that the team is playing as a whole . Previous season (IMO) looked like a team that was waiting for the top guys to do it all. This years team has hustle, and they look hungry. Worried Joe will make trades that will tinker with the team chemistry. I feel they could make minor trades to make this team a Cup winner this year. Defense is a concern of mine . I would like to see some bigger , tougher , harder to move guys back there. I am NOT a Girard fan at all and if there were guys I would classify as expendable He would be one( maybe #95 as well) . |
